ABSTRACT
18 dwellings with ventilation system D or C were evaluated. Besides the flow rates, the power consumption have been measured, showing a specific power lower than 0.5 W/(m³/h) for most of the tested systems D. Among other results, the presence of micro-organisms in the supply air, compared to outside and inside air has been evaluated in 5 systems up to now: the number of bacteria as well as mold spores in the supply air was always lower than in the outside and inside air. This ongoing study has now to be enlarged for noise level measurements, and for microbiological analysis on older ventilation systems to evaluate the impact of (absence of) maintenance on long term.
