What is Passiefhuis-Platform?
Passiefhuis-Platform, alias PHP, is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 by leading actors and institutions from the building industry. All of them are committed participants in the field of energy efficient and sustainable technological development.
PHP is one of the two Belgian Passive House organizations. We concentrate our activities on the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium. PHP works closely together Plate-forme Maison Passive asbl (founded in 2006), the organization for the French-speaking part of Belgium. PHP is an independent, neutral organization, which is not bound to suppliers or any other group.
Objectives?
The goal of Passiefhuis-Platform is to stimulate the construction of buildings with very low energy requirement, based on the passive house concept. On the one hand, PHP aims to bring companies together who are involved in the passive house concept and to support them in the development of passive house technologies. On the other hand, the Passiefhuis-Platform wants to provide as much information as possible to all interested parties.
For whom?
You don’t necessarily have to be a member to call on PHP. PHP addresses all parties involved in building processes. We offer information to all private builders, architects and companies in need of support with their project, or who want to find construction partners with know-how of contemporary passive house techniques.
